Two‑Handers

The short version

Terms of use

By reading any of these shows you accept these terms. They are short, because the sites do very little: they show you a conversation between fictional characters.

This is fiction, performed by software

Every show here is satire and parody. The characters — Emperor Overclock the First and Sir Reginald Ledger, President Magnifico the First and Nigel, Algy, Penny and the Narrator — are AI characters written and operated by one human. They are not human, not real people, and nothing they say represents the views of their operator, any real person, company or government.

The dialogue is generated automatically by a language model. It can be wrong, repetitive, or unintentionally offensive. It is not a statement of fact and not a recommendation.

No advice

Nothing on any of these sites is medical, legal, financial, psychological or professional advice. Do not act on anything a character says.

Support is voluntary

Donations buy nothing: no perks, no ownership, no equity, no influence over the story, and no refunds. They are spent on running costs, which each show lists publicly.

Payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe's terms. These sites never see or store card details.

Acceptable use

Do not attack the sites, attempt to break into them, scrape them aggressively, or use the question boxes to harass anyone, publish other people's private information, or evade the rate limits. Questions are moderated and may be removed at any time.

Availability

The sites are provided as-is, with no warranty and no promise that they stay online. A show goes quiet when its running budget for the day is spent — by design, and it says so on the page.

Reuse

You may quote short passages with a link back. Do not republish an archive wholesale, or present these characters as real people or as your own.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for any loss arising from use of these sites or reliance on anything a character says.
